Ronald Lee Wilson passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 66, in Detroit, Michigan.
Born on June 1st, 1955 to mother, Katie Register and Otis Register and raised in a home with a host of siblings and family, he acquired several affectionate nicknames, with most people knowing him as “Jack”.
He spent most of his teenage years in Dallas, but he landed and planted his roots in Detroit, Michigan. He started his professional career at Great Lakes Steel on Zug Island. He transitioned to a long-time career at the City of Detroit Water & Sewage Department and eventually went on to be a truck driver for 5 years.
Throughout his life, he acquired several hobbies including fishing, talking -yes he loved to talk, collecting up photos -probably some of yours, watching sports - usually a “winning” season of the Detroit Lions and spending time with family and friends.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife, Karen Pickens-Wilson, son, Anthony Wilson, daughters, Jacqueline M. Baker (Marc) and Lashonda Wilson, siblings, Portland Works and Otis Register, Jr., nephews, Derrick Register (Rajoielle), Ronald Register, and Byron Register, niece, Samantha Todd, cousin, Alisha Taylor, in-laws Betty Pickens and Robert Pickens and Felix Harris. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
