With heavy hearts yet a spirit of celebration, we announce the passing of Yvonne Reaves, who transitioned from this world to her eternal rest on September 12, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in Detroit, MI, on April 14, 1940, Yvonne led a life rich in love, resilience, and dedication. She touched the lives of many during her tenure as a word processor for the State of Michigan, where her meticulous work and warm spirit made a lasting impact on those around her.

Her family will remember her as a guiding light, a source of strength, and a wellspring of wisdom. Her warm laughter, infectious spirit, and unconditional love will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends.

In honor of Yvonne's remarkable life, funeral services will be held at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. A Family Hour will take place on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:30 am, allowing friends and family to gather in remembrance and love. This will be followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am, where we will celebrate her life, sharing stories and cherished memories.

Prior to this celebration, there will be a Public Viewing on Thursday, September 18th, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm, providing an opportunity for all who knew Yvonne to pay their respects and honor her beautiful spirit.

Yvonne will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park in Clinton Twp, MI. As we gather to say our final goodbyes, we invite all who loved her to reflect on the joy she brought into the world and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

In celebrating her life, let us remember Yvonne's kindness, her strength, and the warmth that she shared with everyone she met. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
