Rose Marie Jerry was born on November 4, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, to William Lawrence Jerry Sr. and Brunette Simpson Jerry. She was the youngest of two children, with her older brother, William Lawrence Jerry Jr. (Billy). Following their parents’ divorce, their stepfather, J.
