Mrs. Woodard started her life in Russelville Ala. Raised in River Rouge Mi, daughter of Evelyn Nash and Connie D. Burgess and beloved stepdaughter of Melvin Jones, who all preceeded her in death.
She was the mother of six children. Pat Burgess, Elvera Evans(deceased), Renay Woodard, Reginald Woodard, Dwane Woodard(deceased), Latoyia Woodard.Latoyia was very close to her in the final years.
